Traveling north by car along Hwy. 71 around 4pm or so on Sept. 27th northbound towards Kenora, Ontario, a solitary Bald Eagle was observed gliding over a bay of Lake of the Woods to the west of the road. It was an unseasonably warm day for that region at that time of the year, about 27 degrees Celsius or 80 degrees Fahrenheit and sunny.
