Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/06/2014

Number: 500

Nectaring. We have hundreds of monarchs feeding in the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, especially on the Gregg’s mistflower and abelia.

I didn’t check throughout the garden, but I saw about 300 in two areas. They are usually equally abundant in a number of other places, so I would say 500 on grounds is a low estimate.
