Went out driving as part of my work in Toronto. The sun came out and warmed up the air, and close to Lake Ontario in downtown Toronto, as I drove along our 6-lane east to west expressway called the Gardiner Expressway about 1 pm today, one lone monarch soared high over the highway and over my car, soaring directly south toward the lake. Reports of quite a few "stragglers" yet, usually seen when the sun comes out.
