Weather--51 F low and 75 F high, cloudy to start clearing to mostly sunny and near dusk clouding and light showers beginning (heavy rain and thunderstorms began about an hour after dark), light breezes

One monarch flitting southward at about 30-40 ft and climbing. This makes monarch number 17 for the year...I was not at home when I spotted it but King George was still the nearest town. This was the first monarch I have spotted away from home all year. This was the first year that I have not spotted monarchs away from home (until now.) I am heartened to see that there are still reports of monarchs to my north. Go Monarchs!!!
