The female RT hummer that visited our garden yesterday was still with us today. I saw her on "her" tube feeder at 7:25am, temp was 59 degrees, wind @ 6 MPH with mostly cloudy skies. She stuck around all day feeding about every 1/2 hour. So I was able to sit in my garden with my camera and tripod and snap a few pictures. The last time I saw her was at sunset 6:39pm, temp was 68 degrees. We have not had our first frost and still have pentas, fuchsia and hot lips salvia in bloom. Even so I hope she is on her way soon, I worry about these stragglers. It was such a joy watching her today. God Speed little one!
