The last two days have seen good numbers of monarchs around the gardens of Cape May Point. Todays census calculated 65 per hour. On any one butterfly bush, goldenrod or aster patch there would be 25 - 40 monarchs nectaring. It's been very windy, so the butterflies are staying in the sheltered garden areas versus the dune goldenrod.
