I was surprised this morning to find a great many monarchs feasting on my butterfly bush here in maryland. We see very few of the monarchs in the summer but I planted milkweed this year- only a small pot of it. They stayed until late afternoon and may be roosting now. I will look in the morning. My daughter will show my video to her 4th grade class in chicago tomorrow. They are studying biomes.
