We spotted the first Monarch on our butterfly bush at 11:15 am. We checked frequently throughout the day until 4:45 pm. We saw 7 or 8 Monarchs during this time, with as many as 4 at once.

We also saw several American Ladies and two Red-Spotted Purples.
