I was very surprised to see s single female at one of my feeders this morning. I have never seen one this late in the season before. I am glad I hadn't taken in the feeders yet. This female was extremely healthy looking . I will keep an eye to see if she returns. The temp has been in the mid to high 40's in the mornings and highs in the 50's and 60' so I hope she feeds frequently and then goes on her way.
