Was quite surprised to find two small monarch caterpillars clinging to milkweed in my front yard today. Found them while weeding a patch of garden near the street. Since it's so late in the season and has been cool and rainy here, brought them inside to speed them along. The milkweed I have left doesn't look so great, but hopefully there will be enough to get them to healthy chrysalis stage.
