Out of the 32 cats originally appearing on my porch milkweeds, 28 were taken to a large garden area of milkweed. They seemed to disappear, almost immediately.

After feeding a few days, brought 4 cats inside, 3 are now in healthy-looking chrysalides. (One began leaking fluid and fell from its attachment point.
