For the past 3 days Monarchs have been streaming across Table Rock Lake often singly, sometimes in clusters. In one 15 minute period yesterday about 5:30 pm, 10 monarchs crossed the lake in the area close to the Missouri/Arkansas line. The previous afternoon I counted 19 in a 2-hour period crossing the lake from the Table Rock State Park area. Driving down from Kansas City to Ridgedale, MO on Oct. 5, I counted 70 crossing the highways headed southwest against wind.
