Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/05/2014

Number: 100

I have seen a few everyday all week but on Sunday late afternoon there too many to count. I have 8 permanent wide rows in my garden about 70 feet long. To attract pollinators on the ends of each row I have mexican sunflowers. I also have zinnas everywhere between rocks and garden species. The uphill side of the 4 rows with support fences have marigolds every foot. The mexican sunflowers were their favorite but they we obviously drinking nectar from all. I have never before seen so many Monarchs at one time.
