Today I counted 3 monarchs heading south between 1:30 and 3:30 pm. Temperature was 52F. after a morning low of 32F. The wind was calm at the shoreline of Lake Huron where I saw them. The wind inland, however, was SW-17. Sunny at the beach, but cloudy inland with a few specks of rain drops. These monarchs were really flying fast!
