We went to Corson's Inlet State Park around 5:30 to look for roosting monarchs in the dunes. Small clumps of monarchs nectaring on the seaside goldenrod and groundsel bushes. Most clumps contained 2-10 monarchs. Beautiful, picture-perfect weather with temperature in the upper 60s to low 70s and a light westerly breeze.
