First batch of Sandhill Cranes flying over our valley this year (Apishapa Valley, Gulnare, Colorado). There were about 300 individuals in three flocks, with the furthest flock waiting for the two smaller flocks to meld into one large flock and then both large flocks consolidated and moved on southwards.
