We still have 2 juvenile Ruby-throated Hummingbirds around our feeders in the backyard and at three window feeders. We believe one is a female juvie and the other is a male juvie. Yesterday one of them was attempting to take a bath at the bubble on top of our two-tiered fountain, when the other wanted to get in on the action. The first bather "poked" the interloper with its bill as if to say, "Leave me alone. I'm taking my bath!!!" We are enjoying the antics of these two little hummers and know that our remaining time with them must be very short.
