Greetings from central Virginia. Our class raised monarch caterpillars to observe the life cycle. We released the butterflies so they could begin their migration to Mexico. In the spring we plan to plant more milkweed around our school and homes to provide food and the plant necessary for the eggs to be laid so a new cycle can begin.
