At 4:15 pm a male monarch arrived in our backyard and fed at one of our butterfly bushes until 4:55 pm. He then flew over the chain link fence to our neighbor's yard where he managed to disappear into one of their rose of sharon bushes. I think he decided this was a good place to spend the night. It was mostly cloudy at the time and 14C.
