While turning compost I was stunned to see 2 monarchs about 3pm. Wasn't close enough to ID them, nor the other who flew to the butterfly bush around 4:15. Last monarch about 4:45 was female. After visiting the bush she flew to a nearby garage roof to rest in the sun.
