Monarch PEAK Migration
Sightings report image

Date: 10/12/2014

Number: 20

At 10:30 CDT I saw 2 monarchs a male and female feeding on orange Lantana.
Around noon the monarchs starting coming into the garden. I counted at least 20 what a beautiful thing to see. The monarchs looked like orange oak leaves floating into the garden. They were feeding on the butterfly bushes and lantana all the butterflies were in excellent shape. They still were in the garden as it was getting dark. We have storms headed here tomorrow maybe storms brought them my way. I hope they will be safe tomorrow.

I have great short video
