We found a monarch catepillar in the botanic Garden about 2 1/2 weeks ago and put it in a cage so it could make its chrysalis without being harmed. It eclosed Friday 10/10/14 and was released 10/11/14. It flew to a rock and sunned for a couple of minutes then flew off to a stand of bushes.
