11 monarchs today on the butterfly bush in balmy temperatures of nearly 80 with breezes. Mostly overcast. First group of 5 seen about 1, then 3 about 2, 2 about 4, 1 @5:30. Why are they all interested in the butterfly bush? So much so that often 2 butterflys will be on the same blossom. Today's count evenly divided female & male. In August or early Sept they were mostly interested in the torch tithonia. What's changed?
