I have been raising monarchs for the past 7 years and I have never seen one this late in the season until this afternoon when I spotted one feeding on the butterfly bush in my yard. The weather here is in the sixties today but this will soon change. I don't hold out much hope for this one. I also have a female hummingbird feeding in the backyard for the past week or so. This has been a very strange end to this summer season.
