They were in pristine condition flying east to west starting at 9:00 am as it warmed into 70 degrees F.
They emerged every few minutes in groups of 3-4, not interested in feeding but floating up and over the USDA People's Garden at 1001 Holleman Drive East, College Station, TX. I have not seen that many before. I was only able to tag 2 that settled. Later,about 11:00 am, I took a photo of several feeding on nectar on a False Willow bush in the garden along with honey bees
