Tulips PLANTED
Sightings report image

Date: 10/07/2014

Number: 1

It was a foggy and chilly morning with a temperature of 3 Celcius when our 63 Grade 2 and 3 students set out to plant our tulip garden. Before we planted we went through the checklist to make sure we did things the right way. When we were planting the bulbs, we nade sure that the tip was pointing up. After all the bulbs were in we covered them over with soil. We saw lots of worms and some grubs in the soil. We are going to observe and record the changes, so we will keep you posted on spring's arrival in Miramichi!
