A single monarch butterfly was sighted flying 4 feet above the ground and in a southerly direction on October 15, 2014 at 2:38 pm at the intersection of St. John Street & St. Georges Avenue in Linden, NJ. The winds (10 -15 MPH) were from the east, the temperature was 76 F, the sky was overcast, and the relative humidity was high (a storm front was approaching.)
