Until the first cold spell about 10 days ago, I had anywhere from 30-40 in a day - sometimes to the point I felt I was being divebombed by bees on my back porch-they were everywhere! After the cold spell, I went down to about 12 or so, almost all juvenile or underweight and small. These were the ones always pushed away from the feeders before. For the last two days, it was extremely cold (high 40s/low 50s) at night, and I thought that would be it, but I had a hummer at each of my feeders this afternoon, when the sun was out. So I know for a fact I had six different ones - again, all very tiny, or very skinny, so hopefully they are fattening up for the long journey without interruption from the big boys :-)
