overnight 56F, high 83F. Wind WNW most of the day. Saw a few monarchs near house during the day. Starting about 1700 made a check loop. Wind had dropped close to calm. Monarchs were wildly distributed. Some on liatris, some in two larger groves, others flying. No obvious directional flight.
