We saw the roosting monarchs last Saturday evening, October 11. We estimated there were about 60 in one Cedar Elm tree. There may have been others elsewhere along the creek, but we didn't have time to look for them. A cold front had come through that morning and we had received 1.6 inches of rain, but it was mostly clear by that evening.
