I was golfing at the Raintree Golf Course near Hillsboro, Missouri. Several Monarchs (10+) were flying south just above the grass while we were golfing. The temperature was in the 50's and lower 60's during these sightings of the Monarchs. The Monarchs were all heading south as singles (not in a group). The attached picture shows one that landed on one of our golf balls.
