I was golfing at Raintree Golf Course near Hillsboro Missouri and saw 10+ Monarchs migrating south just above the grass. They passed us one at a time starting about 10:00 AM with the temperature still in the 50's. The attached picture shows one of them resting on one of our golf balls.
