Rainy afternoon and the hummers were chirping like pretty much every single day in this area. I could hear them chirping behind the tree canopy in front of my balcony. They land on the highest branches of the cedars, usually one by one, stand on their own for some seconds and then fly away.
As I'm writing this, I can see one of them hovering by the highest tree branches (10/18/14). We still have lots of them in this area; maybe a colony (?)Next time I will try to take a pic.
