Driving home from work, while waiting at a stop sign for cars to drive by, I watched a Monarch flutter casually by the front of my car heading south. After I crossed the highway, I watched as it flew over a cornfield and out of sight. It was a cloudy, windy day, but the Monarch was persistent and was keeping a low profile, not flying too high off the ground.
