Hiking 40 minutes in the foot hills of Chiricahua Mts. Spotted 2 Monarchs (5 minutes apart)flying up a canyon along trees not a bee-line but would stop and perch on vegetation and fly on from east to west. Thunderstorms threaten (a very rainy week).
