Travel on dirt road slowly. Spotted one monarch in flight along roadside as arroyo with trees cross the road. Half mile further along the road 2 more monarchs spotted flying along arroyo. Both locations they seem to move up arroyo from flats toward mountain rise. Each time stopped and examined with binoculars. 5-10min at each location.
