Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 10/18/2014

Number: 1

This was a lone female monarch that showed up around 11AM. It fed on my butterfly bush off and on for at least four hours. I was able to get close enough to take some great pictures. I was surprised to see it because I thought migration was over. It did appear to be smaller than usual, maybe a young female.
