On a cold sunny day with temps in the low 50's and a strong northwest wind with windgusts in excess of 30 mph I spotted 8 monarchs. There were also some dragonflies and red admiral butterflies accompanying the monarchs today
The night time temperatures are expected to go into the 30's tonight, we may even have a frost. Hopefully the seashore where the monarchs roost stays warmer.
