Here is what we saw today:
9:05: 1 monarch (sex unknown) passing thru our backyard
10:15: 2 monarchs (sex unknown) passing thru our backyard
12:35: saw 2 monarchs - a male on the butterfly bush and 1 monarch (sex unknown) passing thru our backyard
1:02: 3 females monarchs on the butterfly bush
1:15 5 monarchs on the butterfly bush (1 female, 1 male, 3 sex unknown)
2:00: 4 females on the butterfly bush
2:27: 4 monarchs (sex unknown) on the butterfly bush
3:04: 2 monarchs on the butterfly bush (1 female, 1 sex unknown)
3:58: 1 male on the butterfly bush -- large portions of both forewings were missing (guessing that it was attacked by another critter)
5:21: 1 monarch (sex unknown) passing thru front yard
