The monarchs were coming off of the Atlantic Ocean towards the shoreline of Rehoboth Beach DE. The Monarchs were seen at a rate of one every 20 minutes. They were all struggling while flying into the wind towards shore. Several Monarchs landed on the sand after flying across the water and then took off again after resting.
