Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/22/2014

Number: 100

I visited our Certified Monarch Station#7485 Monarch Butterfly Labyrinth garden at Bluebonnet Montessori school of Lakeway 4 times today and observed 20 - 30 adult Monarch butterflies each time. I was lucky to take a video of 2 mating Monarchs. Soon we will start looking for eggs! We are so excited. We have observed about 100 + monarchs feasting on the nectar EVERY DAY day for the last 10 days! And there are probably many more stopping by to drink nectar from their favourite Greg's BLue Mist blossoms nectar!!! We are just not 100 % of the day time in the labyrinth to watch and record precisely! They are migrating butterflies as their wings have so many marks and holes and bents and scratches from their long journey!!! It is so amazingly fascinating!!!!
