Not knowing about this site until now, our sightings will be over September and the first week of October. After construction destroyed most of the garden , this year I saw a few larvae. My students and I started collecting ( 29 ) and raised and released them. All survived, but one. 11 more were spotted. We planted additional milkweed and pollinator plants and hope to have a bigger population next year. Yeah! We still have one waiting to emerge...not so sure about that one.
