during the summer I have around 15 annas' & 2 rufus'. I have a family that now has grown to 7 and are wintering over. I have strengthend the syrup since the temps r dropping. They seem to do just fine. Last yr I had 4 & like I said now 7. I am pretty sure it is all 1 family as u can tell the younger ones from the older ones. They winter over in our holly bush
