Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 10/25/2014

Number: 50

Low last night 64 (at 7:30 a.m.), breeze from SSE @ 7mph, very sunny. Only lazy and casual movement from remaining monarchs. Across fence at neighbor's 40-50 remain is a single loose cluster of some 2'x 5' and comprised of 4 minor branches at the tips of an ash tree. 20 ea on 2 branch tips some 8" apart. Others scattered loosely in same small area. 5 monarchs nectaring and elating around my yard. One on sunflowers, other on antigonon vine. Out front 2 monarchs one on mesquite other on durnata bush.
