- 4 fresh females and one (1) fresh male nectaring on Red clover in usual places (ShoelessJoes and on the Bevel line near the cemetery)
- several photos closeup to establish condition
stiff SWwind with afternoon temperatures rising from 14 Celsius to 18 Celsius by 3PM
- late butterflies (for this area) in the same fields include Pearl crescent and Eastern tailed blue . Painted Ladies now are more common than Monarchs in these Red Clover areas.
- good weather is encouraging to lawn mowing of some more clover patches
