Four female monarchs nectaring on buddleja and agastache. Two had been through the wars--missing all scales in small patches and one had small tatters(possibly from high winds two days ago or the heavy rain three days ago). The other two looked bright and new. All stayed nectaring for at least two hours before moving on south between 2:30 and 3 pm.

Sunny, high of 71 F and low of 51 F, slight breezes all day (5 mph or less).
