On a sunny day with temps in the low 60's and a strong west north west wind with wind gusts up to 30 mph I spotted 26 monarchs. The wind was difficult for the monarchs and continued to blow them off the golden rod. The monarchs were accompanied by dragonflies.

Tonight overnight temps are expected to drop into the low 40's and warm up to the 60's tomorrow.
