I took this picture yesterday and saw one early today nectaring on crownbeard before it left. We are expecting a killing frost on Tues so will attempt to save a few plants by covering them in case any stragglers find my gardens. There are very few native plants still flowering so have to face the reality that the season is coming to an end.
