What a surprise!!! I saw a healthy, large beautiful Monarch butterfly around 2:45 p.m. ! It was a warm, windy afternoon in the low 70s! I was out back by my garage, washing my car, and the Monarch flew right up to me (almost like it wanted to say hello) and landed on a geranium plant near me! It ate a little then flew on over the fence, heading to the southwest! I was so surprised to see it because I thought most of them already migrated from this area!!
