I saw two monarchs nectaring on tropical milkweed in my yard (one a male, the other female) and also saw a newly emerged female monarch on the grass. As I approached, she fluttered around on her new wings so I placed her in the tropical milkweed patch where she would have some cover. All three looked fresh and perfect. Beautiful Fall day - mid to upper 60s, no breeze, sunny - but cold weather coming by the weekend so I hope they move along.
